Terms of Sale
These terms cover buying a plan or AI credits in Nelix Silicon Lab (lab.nelix.io). They add to our Terms of Service, which also apply. Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply.
Who sells
Plans and AI credits are sold by Nelix Chip Design Ltd., Accra, Ghana ("Nelix", "we").
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Plans and prices
Student: free. Professional: $39 a month or $390 a year. Professional on your own AI key: $15 a month. AI credit top-up: $5 for 3,000 credits, on any plan. University: $99 per student per year, at least 20 seats, agreed with Nelix in writing. Enterprise plans are agreed with Nelix in writing.
Every plan includes every process the lab offers (SKY130, GF180MCU, IHP SG13G2 and ASAP7 for learning). What changes between plans is how far Nelix Agent goes with you, and some features such as GDS download; the Plans page lists what each plan includes.
Prices are in US dollars. Taxes such as VAT, GST or sales tax are worked out at checkout from your billing address and shown before you pay.
Subscriptions renew automatically
A monthly or yearly plan renews at the end of each period and is charged to your saved payment method until you cancel.
When you change plan, the payment provider adjusts the charge for the rest of the period (proration).
Cancelling
You can cancel any time in the lab: Plan, then Manage billing. You keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again.
After that your account moves to the Free plan. Your projects, designs and results are kept.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, you keep your plan for 7 days while the payment provider tries again and we e-mail you. If it is still unpaid after that, your account moves to the Free plan.
AI credits
Each plan includes a Nelix Agent allowance that comes back over time, as the Plans page describes. Simulation, synthesis, builds and the code editor never use credits.
Top-up credits are added to your account when the payment is confirmed and stay until you use them. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
Refunds
Our Refund & Cancellation Policy (lab.nelix.io/public/legal/refunds) explains when you can get your money back. If your local law gives you more rights, those rights apply.
Payment disputes
If you dispute a payment with your bank (a chargeback), the paid plan it paid for is paused until the dispute is closed. Please contact us first: most problems are solved faster that way.
Price changes
We tell you by e-mail at least 30 days before a new price applies to your plan. You can cancel before it does.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, and the courts of Accra have jurisdiction, as in our Terms of Service. This does not take away any rights your local consumer law gives you.
