You need an account and a web browser. A laptop screen is best; phones work for reading results.

Request access#

  1. Go to lab.nelix.io and choose Request access.
  2. Choose what you are: Student, Engineer / professional or University / Professor, then fill in your name, your e-mail and your country. Each choice says in one line what you get: students learn and build on their own for free, engineers import their own RTL with Engineer mode, and universities get the university interface to create classes and assignments.
  3. Students: if your professor gave you a class code, enter it (or open the invite link, which fills it in for you). The code is optional; you can also enter it later from Home or the Learn page. With a valid code you join the class at your first sign-in.
  4. Students and engineers are approved automatically, usually within a few minutes (Nelix limits how many accounts open each day, so a request can also wait until the next day). A University / Professor request is reviewed by Nelix, who then gets in touch about a licence for your classes. You do not need to do anything while you wait.

Activate your account#

  1. When your request is approved, Nelix sends an email with an activation link.
  2. Open the link and choose a password.
  3. Sign in at lab.nelix.io/login. You land on Overview.

What you get#

The Student plan is free; Professional, University and Enterprise are paid plans, and AI credits can be added on any plan. Each plan includes an allowance of Nelix Agent and of projects, tool time and storage; the Plan page inside the lab shows yours. See Plans and allowances.
